Richard Brain is the technical director at ProCheckUp, a leading independent specialist UK security organisation. He developed its unique approach to penetration testing. His artificial-intelligence based software has automated the approach of penetration testing, allowing fuller testing to be conducted that finds many previously unknown vulnerabilities.

Richard brings 28 years of computing experience to our Ask the Experts panel, including 16 years working with networks and 12 years in a consulting role. He graduated from Middlesex University, and is fluent in Perl, XML, XSL, Basic, Java, C and assembler. His other specialties include bank and financial credit card-hacking security and Web security.
